Choose the starting point for your enquiry
The three service types address different needs. You can include more than one in a single enquiry when the work overlaps.
- Fault investigation: describe an existing problem, such as lights that keep flickering or a circuit that repeatedly trips. Include any repair requirements already identified.
- Lighting installation: outline new lights, replacement fittings or changes to lighting positions and controls. Explain the result you want in each room or area.
- Electrical inspections: request an assessment of the fixed installation’s condition. State the reason for the inspection and mention any previous report.
Include related requirements in one enquiry
Your enquiry can cover a condition assessment and work mentioned in an existing report. Identify the assessment you’re requesting and any recorded findings you want to discuss.
For a lighting project, describe the proposed changes alongside any existing problem you’ve noticed. Keep the requested improvements and reported symptoms clear within your message.
For a refurbishment, explain which electrical tasks are part of your request and which arrangements are already in place. Mention planned building or decorating work and dates you already hold.
Fixed-installation assessment and appliance checks have different scopes. If your request concerns an appliance, say so rather than describing it as a whole-property inspection.
